"Can I get a Witness?"
Doula Clients
I literally don't think I would have survived bringing my
second child home without the help of Jen. I was able to nurse the baby and
completely sleep in between while she literally handled our household. Jen
cared for both of my children, took them to the park, played with them, kept
the house in order and did laundry. She even ran errands one day when I needed
something picked up at the store.
She is very self-motivated and needed very little direction. She took
charge, which I loved because I just wanted to sleep. When she left at the end
of the day, the kids were in great moods, the house was completely clean and
dinner was ready for my hubby coming home.
I would absolutely recommend Jen for any family. You are
making a huge mistake if you overlook her. She is amazing! We love her and miss
her. If we could afford it, we would still have her today.

Jen helped my
husband and me on several nights with our first baby. We did not have a lot of
family support and having Jen come over for night doula work was
fantastic! She gave us
tips on why our little one, JP, might be crying and wrote out sleep routine
tips after we made it through the first few weeks. She also helped me with some
breastfeeding positioning (I learned the side lying position, which is great
for night-time), and she organized the baby clothes, folded laundry, and made me
a midnight snack...I highly
recommend Jen as a night doula and for postpartum support.

Yoga Students
I faithfully attended
Jen's Mindful Yoga class on Sunday mornings at the Seaside Yoga
Sanctuary. Her approach was gentle yet she always offered challenges
which were of value to me as I was recently beginning
my yoga practice. She provided deep instruction towards awareness and
alignment in poses, and included vinyasa sequences in the hour which
raised my heartbeat and circulation! I always left Jen's class feeling
relaxed
and energized. She is knowledgeable, warm, and approachable. Jen
was instrumental in developing my love and dedication to yoga, and to be
non-judgmental - simply more deeply aware - of my own process in my
practice.

I have a history of breast cancer and had limited motion and poor
balance due to surgeries, treatment, and medicine, so I tried some yoga.
What a difference Jenny made in my life! I can move, breathe and relax
again! Not only is Jenny a wonderful teacher, she always offered me
several alternatives for any position, taught me the value of using
props, and worked with me to increase my strength, flexibility and
stamina.
She demonstrated her skills and knowledge of yoga in
a friendly, positive manner and was encouraging at all times. I
particularly enjoyed the fact that she had a clear lesson plan and
provided a variety of movements for each class. I never knew what to
expect and often didn't realize I had successfully done something that
the week before had seemed impossible! She has a wonderful manner, a
delightful sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and made each class fun
as well as restorative.
I wholeheartedly recommend her to those who want to
try yoga for the first time as well as anyone who wants to be in a
fun-filled, joyous class. She truly represents "Namaste."

The few yoga classes I took with Jen made such a large impact on my
practice. There are teachers few and far between that give me tools and
instruction that stick with me for the long run, but several things that
Jen gave me as a student I remember and come back to time and time
again. Having a teacher like Jen and the lessons that she helps to convey
are truly special and priceless.
